Cuvée Madame Sélection de Mademoiselle 2024 is an elegant rosé from Contemporary Wines AB, a forward-thinking producer with a clear vision: to craft wines that speak to modern palates without sacrificing depth or refinement. The 2024 vintage brings with it the freshness and vibrancy that defines great contemporary rosé.

The name itself — Sélection de Mademoiselle — conveys a spirit of discerning taste and feminine grace, a curatorial sensibility that runs through every aspect of this wine. Produced from a carefully chosen blend of grape varieties, this rosé is designed for those who appreciate nuance and balance in equal measure.

On the nose, this wine opens with bright, fruit-forward aromatics reminiscent of wild strawberries, raspberries, and delicate floral notes, underpinned by a subtle citrus lift that adds freshness and precision. The palate is clean and inviting, with a smooth, medium-bodied texture and lively acidity that keeps each sip engaging from start to finish. The finish is crisp and refreshing, leaving a pleasant, lingering impression.

This is a food-friendly rosé that pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes: think Mediterranean salads, fresh seafood, grilled chicken skewers, light pasta dishes, and soft creamy cheeses. It is equally at home as a chilled aperitif on a warm afternoon or as a companion to a relaxed alfresco dinner.

For those looking to buy a premium rosé online with character and contemporary style, Cuvée Madame Sélection de Mademoiselle 2024 is a compelling choice. Available at Mercado 46 with European delivery, this is a bottle that brings a touch of elegance to any occasion.

The Winery

Founded in 2011

Contemporary Wines AB is an innovative Swedish wine house founded in 2011 by Fredrik Gustafsson, Philip Sane and Carl-Johan Gadd. Registered on 22 December of that year as a Swedish limited company under organisation number 556878-4200, the company has set itself apart from the traditional wine world by embracing a thoroughly modern business model. Rather than operating as a conventional winery, Contemporary Wines functions as a vinhus — a Scandinavian concept for a wine house — that owns and manages its own registered brands from start to finish. Its team travels to leading European wine regions, including Provence, Côtes de Provence, Côtes du Rhône, Piedmont, Veneto, Tuscany and Bordeaux, in search of outstanding wines and producers. Once selections are made, the wines are rigorously tested with focus groups, given attractive and contemporary label designs, and launched to market under fully owned proprietary brands. This philosophy blends traditional winemaking techniques with modern innovation, with the aim of exceeding the expectations of the most demanding wine enthusiasts. Distribution takes place primarily through Systembolaget, Sweden's state-controlled alcohol retail monopoly, as well as through a curated selection of Swedish restaurants and cross-border trade. Contemporary Wines boasts around 350 shareholders, reflecting the strong interest its model has generated in the Scandinavian market. In January 2022, the company announced its intention to list on the stock exchange during the spring of that year, though the move was ultimately postponed due to deteriorating market conditions. Despite this setback, the company remains a benchmark for innovation and forward-thinking vision within the Nordic wine sector.
